The only reason I read it because over here, when a new HP movie comes out one of the channels shows Harry Potter every Saturday, and I'm trying to read the whole book before they show the movie.

I say Harry Potter 4 before the movie and then when I read the book I was remembering the movie and then there was a lot of extra things in the book and when I was thinking about the movie those bits didnt make sense and then with Harry Potter 5 i read the book then saw the movie and it was a lot better I recommend if there is a book try to read that first
